2018 - Régnié S&G Joncy, Cuvée La Pierre
This wine is made from 40 year old vines. Manual harvesting and sorting in the vineyard, with semi-carbonic maceration for 20 days. It is then aged in concrete tanks for 11 months. The estate is in the process of achieving organic status. This wine is very well balanced in the mouth with flavors of red currant, black berries. Pairs beautifully with pork and poultry.
