Notre Côté Sud comes from the Southwestern part of Languedoc (not far from Roussillon and the Pyrénées mountains) near the town of Limoux (also famous for the Crémant). Higher in altitude, the nights are fresh and the days are hot and dry in the summer which brings a perfect balance to the wines. Fresh, floral and mineral on the nose. There are notes of fresh almond, hazelnut, citrus and white flowers on the palate. It is balanced and has a fresh finish. A "no-brainer" Chardonnay!
